Breaking Ground: A Yom Kippur Renovation
- This event has passed.
Ever felt so angry you just want to break something? Ever broken something you can’t fix? Well good news! Yom Kippur is right around the corner and there is so much more to Yom Kippur than sitting in synagogue all day, feeling hungry, tired, and guilty. It’s actually an awesome opportunity to fix everything we have broken in the past year. To learn to forgive and forget, and to reflect on how we’ve missed the mark and how we hope to hit it in the year ahead.
Sunday, October 6th, 2:15pm-3:45pm
Downtown
$25 per person
So make sure to join us on Sunday, October 6th for a special Yom Kippur experience where we will reap havoc, breaking anything in sight – from plates, mugs, to old TVs and computers. Through this cathartic reimagination of Yom Kippur we’ll get all the bad stuff out of our systems and refocus on how we can work to repair what has been broken in the past year.
For couples interested in joining, please email Laura Schiff.
