Moishe House Sherman Oaks x NuRoots Canned Food Drive

1 in 5 of our peers in Los Angeles are food insecure. That’s wild, right?
You have the power (and hopefully the non-perishables) to help our fellow Angelenos feel more nourished. As we approach Thanksgiving, we’re asking you to grab those cans in your cupboard or make the extra trip to TJs.
Moishe House Sherman Oaks & NuRoots are collecting all of the cans and non-perishables for a food drive during the week of November 15-20. Share the love and give some Thanksgiving tikkun olam- acts of service- by donating non-perishable items for a contactless drop-off at the MoHoSho house.
Friday, November 20th we will cap the week off with a special virtual Friendsgiving Shabbat- zoom link given upon registration.
Here are the details:
-Please fill out the registration link to receive the address for drop off (Sherman Oaks area!)
-Take a selfie of you dropping off your canned food items and tag @nurootsla and @MoHo_Sho. Food drive drop off times are 9am-6pm. All canned donations will be made to SOVA Food Pantry.
