L.A.! It’s been a long six months since our virtual Lag Ba’Omer talent show, and after popular demand we’re so excited to invite you to an in-person open mic night! We’re taking over a cozy outdoor restaurant patio for food and drinks (on us!) and open mic fun (that’s where you come in).
The world is opening back up, allowing us to finally bring our lockdown dreams to life. What does it mean to you to dream right now? What are you dreaming about? Come join us and put it out there into the world. Whether silly or serious, or through a story, music, comedy, poetry, or whatever form your voice takes, all are welcome to come and share—or just to join us for an evening of talent and fun. There’s no mute button here!

This gathering is co-created with our community members Alex, Lena, Rachel, Roei, and Matthew!
NuRoots, from L.A.’s Jewish Federation, helps young adults find and make community across Los Angeles. This Hanukkah, join us for Infinite Light—eight days (and nights!) of L.A. gatherings, parties, conversations, performances, screenings, concerts, beach dancing, park dancing, storytelling, feasts, volunteering, Shabbat, and nightly candle-lighting, all over town.
