Good Deeds Day is an annual global day of service that started with the simple idea that even the smallest of positive actions can empower each of us to change the world for the better.
 
This year, we and our Federation are showing up to support this effort in partnership with five incredible community partners—Safe Place for Youth, Aviva Family and Children’s Services, St. Joseph Center, West Valley Food Pantry, and L.A. Family Housing.
 
Together, and along with your help, we’re sourcing and packaging care kits: providing our homeless neighbors with necessities, welcoming home people who are transitioning into housing, and reaching out to community members who are isolated with cards of encouragement and comfort.

After signing up, you’ll receive an email with details on what each organization is looking for in its kit. We encourage you to order supplies for the kit(s) you’re interested in making, assemble them at home, and drop them off at the organization(s) you’re supporting. On Good Deeds Day itself, we’ll all gather together on Zoom to see the community of participation in action, and to learn more about the local at-risk populations our partners are serving.
