Last Night: Breaking Bread
- This event has passed.
Join us in Breaking Bread, to celebrate the LAST NIGHT of Passover and all things leavened. Pulling from the Persian tradition of Chamesi*, we invite you to come hungry, and get (b)ready for a festival of food.
We’ll have MH ZH joining us from the Sunset Junction, Pop’s Bagels making on-site fresh bbbagels and bbbabka galore, too-beautiful-to-eat (but please do eat them) seasonal bites from AvocaToast LA, and beyond (read: beer, ‘booch, and more bread).
Saturday, April 7 at 8pm
Hollywood, CA
Tickets: $18/person
Address provided upon registration.
LAST NIGHT: Breaking Bread is the culmination of a week-long Collective Escape, a pop-up Passover experience, powered by NuRoots, OneTable and the Federation’s Y&S Nazarian Iranian Young Leadership Initiative.
*Chamesi is a Persian-Jewish tradition that is exactly what it sounds like: a chametz-y celebration at the end of Passover. After 8 days of eliminating leavened items, to commemorate the collective escape of the Israelite slaves from Egypt, we celebrate with a chametz-centric festivity!
