Join us on February 24 to celebrate Purim! This holiday, which is actually on Thursday night, exalts Queen Esther for saving the Jews of Persia, mostly through storytelling, costumes, and interpretive drinking. Which is where our #JewishHappyHour comes in. This week, you choose the room: loosen up with some alcohol-optional and totally Purim drinking games, grab easy ingredients to make hamantaschen with our pro baker special guest, or simply hang out. And did we mention that you should dress up to compete for prizes for best costume? You should. I mean, do it for Esther.
Sign up to receive the Zoom link and recipes.
Check out the hamantaschen recipe here to grab your ingredients in advance!
Please note that these happy hours are intended for young adults in their twenties and thirties, and we encourage you to join us with your camera on. Let us know if you have any questions.
NuRoots mobilizes and inspires people in their 20s and 30s to create meaningful Jewish community across Los Angeles.
