Plant Parenthood 101
- This event has passed.
Are you a proud plant parent? Or at least an aspiring one? The holiday of Tu B’Shvat celebrates plants and the environment, and whether you have a green thumb or can’t manage to keep a houseplant alive, join NuRoots to get your hands dirty and learn how to pot and care for a gorgeous new parlor palm! We’ll gather on Zoom to pot our plants from start to finish, and learn all about these palms and their special personalities in a one-hour, interactive workshop led by Le Petit Garden, an L.A.-based and Jewish-owned business.
Our workshop includes a plant kit delivered to your door in L.A:
• A ceramic planter
• 1 parlor palm plant
• Pre-measured “ingredients” to make soil
• Soil toppings
• A step-by-step plant guide with fun facts and tips for plant care, watering, repotting, and more
Wednesday, February 3 at 7 pm
