We will explore the essential ingredients that make up the beloved Persian Jewish Friday night tradition of gondi, chickpea meatballs, and ab goosht, chicken broth. We’re here celebrating the ways that this tradition takes form across thousands of tables in Los Angeles each Friday night and welcome you to join us in exploring the age-old meatball and chicken soup for the soul.
 
We invite you to roll up your sleeves to workshop and prepare these foods, followed by a sit-down communal meal. All are welcome: whether you grew up with these foods, eat them every week, enjoy them at your friends’ homes, or are learning about them for the very first time now.
