Tahdig Talk Persian Cooking Class

As we continue life in quarantine, many of us are experimenting in the kitchen more than ever before. Whether this is your first time or you’re a pro, join us to learn how to make a delicious, one-pot Persian dish that will nurture your body, all from the comfort of your home!

Amy Pezeshki, our lovely co-creator and former MasterChef contestant, will lead us in making one of her favorite dishes: sabzi polo (Persian herb rice) with tahdig (the crispy cooked rice at the bottom of the pot) and chicken (optional). She’ll guide us step-by-step in creating this mouthwatering meal and give us an opportunity to connect with each other over meaningful conversation while our food cooks on the stove.
This event is open for all young adults in their 20s and 30s and is powered by NuRoots and the Nazarian Initiative.
