An interactive workshop utilizing design thinking and applied theater modalities to explore identity, increase capacity for empathy, and practice tools for managing reactions to biases.

Having the language, willingness, and confidence to own unconscious biases is exercise. In the Diversity Gym, we are working out this conversation together. This interactive and highly personal workshop utilizes design thinking and applied theater modalities to explore identity stories, increase capacity for empathy, and practice tools for managing mental and emotional reactions to biases. We learn to spot each other rather than spar when triggered.
