A community of community-builders, The Jewish Federation’s NextGen Engagement Initiative (NEI) brings together the people behind the curtain. These passionate professionals breathe life into all types of innovative programming, working to keep young adults in Los Angeles involved in the Jewish community. NEI supports these dynamic professionals by encouraging information sharing and collaboration, as well as offering partnership grant opportunities and valuable networking and skill-building sessions.
NEI unites more than 230 community engagement professionals, activists, entrepreneurs, and innovators. They gather throughout the year for networking events and skill-building sessions. They hear from industry leaders on critical trends including social media, interactive marketing, intergenerational communication, program evaluation and assessment, and more.
NEI members can also apply for microgrants for collaborative programming. This includes participation in citywide festivals powered by NuRoots — a community building initiative of the Federation working to reimagine Jewish life through unique experiences and gatherings.
Keeping our community engaged is important work. NEI provides a valuable forum for collaboration and growth, creating space for Jewish community engagement professionals to explore imaginative programs and methodologies.
If you’re a professional working to engage Jews in their 20s and 30s in LA, we’d love to hear from you.
