Applicants must be Jewish adults aged between 27 and 40 who demonstrate strong leadership skills and a commitment to engaging in civic life.

The ideal NLP candidate has a clear passion for leadership and the focused determination to grow in challenging situations. Currently performing professional or volunteer civic duties, top candidates are pursuing a significant role in the Los Angeles civic community.

After the program, participants are expected to pursue active leadership roles in the civic and Jewish communities of Los Angeles.

They are also invited to take advantage of the NLP Alumni program and The Network, a valuable resource for graduates of all Federation leadership initiatives.

There is a mandatory retreat at the beginning of the year and monthly meetings for the duration of the yearlong program.
