About Recent College Grads

Welcome to post-college life in Los Angeles! We’ve created a space just for recent college grads between the ages of 22 and 27 to make new friends, connect to the Jewish community, and experience everything LA has to offer. Whether you’re new to town or coming back home, you belong here.

Come by any of our events this month — there are plenty to pick from. You’re always welcome at any NuRoots experience, but these “Post-Undergrads” events are especially for you.

Some of our favorite past events include…

• Paint Night
  We celebrated Chanukah during NuRoots’s month-long festival, Infinite Light, with a private painting session, tasty snacks, and drinks.
  
• Newcomers Happy Hour or Brunch
  We host specific newcomers activities just for you! Come by, meet us, meet new people, and hear about what’s been happening at the Federation. This fun, casual night is the perfect way to get your feet wet before diving into nights like…
• Krav Maga
  Seriously! We had a 90-minute introductory course focused on the Israeli self-defense techniques of Krav Maga. Taught by highly trained instructors, the course focused on effective and practical techniques that simulate real life situations. The course was high-energy and open to all fitness levels. After, we all went to a nearby location to catch our breath over snacks and fresh juice.
