Making Amends: A Yom Kippur Workshop on Forgiveness
- This event has passed.
Saying “I’m sorry” is hard. It requires vulnerability and owning up to the fact that you may have hurt someone in your life. So with Yom Kippur just around the corner, how do we find the courage to seek forgiveness?
Sunday, September 22, 6:00-8:00 pm
Echo Park
In this workshop we will learn how to maintain compassion and empathy for yourself and others during these difficult conversations. Facilitator Rachel Bennish will draw from the principles of Nonviolent Communication and the wisdom of Jewish teachings to teach about the power of forgiveness and how to re-establish understanding and connection when there has been a break in a relationship.
This event is FREE, but space is limited. Please RSVP by emailing Oren.
