Rock the Mock: High School Practice Interviews with Young Eisner Scholars

Join us to help some amazing students get their interview game on for competitive high school admission.
Location: Zoom
Date/Time: Tuesday 8/10 | 5:00 pm

Join NuRoots and the Federation for our August community service experience, as we partner up with Young Eisner Scholars (YES) to lead practice interviews for competitive high school admission!

YES empowers exceptional seventh graders from Title 1 schools across L.A. to transcend the boundaries of underserved communities, removes the financial obstacles that would otherwise limit their success, and prepares them for admission to elite independent high schools.

A key component of the admissions process is an interview with an admissions officer. On August 10, we’re looking for great volunteers to help us conduct mock admissions interviews with students over Zoom. We’ll start the event with a brief volunteer training, and then each volunteer will conduct three 15-minute interviews with our middle school students and provide constructive feedback.

Thank you in advance and please reach out with any questions!
